Week 6 Recap SNF and MNF

Colts 27, Redskins 24
Colts: Joseph Addai rushed for 128 yards on 17 carries and had 1 TD. It was Addai's first 100 yard game since Week 11 in 2008. Addai though looked to aggravate his shoulder injury late in the game and had to be helped off the field and didn't return. Peyton Manning had a great game passing for 2 TDs and 307 yards. Pierre Garcon had the big game for the Colts WR hauling a 57 yard TD. Garcon finished the day with 4 catches for 104 yards. Austin Collie continued his hot start as the top fantasy WR scoring his 6th TD of the season and hauling in 7 passes for 57 yards. Reggie Wayne had a quiet game catching only 6 passes for 71 yards. Dallas Clark had just 6 catches also for 52 yards. Look for Wayne to breakout soon as teams have let Collie and the other beat them.

Redskins: Ryan Torain busted out with 100 yards on 20 carries and he rushed for 2 TDs. Torain has a been a nice waiver wire gem so far and should continue to put up solid numbers with the injury to Clinton Portis. Donavon McNabb passed for 246 yards with 1 TD and 2 INTs. McNabb has been solid so far this year and should be viewed as a good QB2 and a borderline QB1. Santana Moss had 8 catches for 77 yards and Chris Cooley had 5 receptions for 37 yards. Moss and Cooley have benefited the most with the arrival of McNabb to Washington this year. Look for both to continue to put up solid numbers the rest of the way. It should be noted that Cooley left the game late because of a concussion. It is unknown at this time if he will play next week so be sure to check the practice reports.

Titans 30, Jaguars 3
Titans: Titans D dominate this game creating 4 turnovers and having 2 sacks. The Titans D looks to have returned to the form there were back in 2008 when they finished in the top 5 scoring for D/ST. If they are still available in you league pick them up. Vince Young threw for 61 yards and a TD before leaving the game with a knee injury. Kerry Collins stepped in and played solid throwing for 110 yards and 1 TD also. Kenny Britt keep his TD streak alive catching a 23 yard TD in the first quarter. Britt finished with just 2 catches for 33 yards though. Chris Johnson scored a very late 4th quarter TD on 4th and 5 from 35 yards out to save his fantasy day for his owners. Johnson finished with 111 yards on 26 carries and he added in 2 catches for 20 yards.

Jaguars: Maurice Jones-Drew had just 57 yards on 17 carries in this game. Jones-Drew owners have to be fustrated with his play so far. Most probably used a top 5 pick on him and he has performed far below that. I have been torn on if owners should trade or keep Jones-Drew. But after last nights game I think it is time for his owners to cut bait and see if they can get something decent for him in return. Mike Thomas led the WRs with 8 catches for 88 yards and Mike Sims-Walker was lost again only catching 2 passes for 12 yards. Marcedes Lewis had just 4 catches for 39 yards. David Garrard left the game with a concussion and Trent Edwards replaced him and didn't fair much better. Its still unknown who will start next week but neither is starter worthy for fantasy owners.
