Waiver Wire 4

Here are this weeks top waiver wire options in my opinion.

Quarterbacks

Kevin Kolb, Eagles: If Kolb was dropped after Michael Vick was named starter he probably is still on the waiver wire. With Vick suffering a rib cartilage injury Kolb reclaims his starting QB spot that he was giving in the offseason. Kolb so far this season has showed some tentativeness to throw the ball down field like Vick has did in his 2 starts. But Kolb still should put up okay numbers while Vick is out. Kolb needs to be owned in all leagues.

Sam Bradford, Rams: I haven't advised to pick up Bradford yet here in the Waiver wire posts but in the recaps of games I have said he is a great dynasty league player and should be on rosters in deeper leagues. Now I think he should be owned in all leagues. Bradford is having one of the best fantasy seasons for a rookie QB ever. Bradford has led the Rams to first place in the NFC West with 944 yards passing so far and 6 TDs. He has thrown 6 INTs but half of those came in week 1. If Bradford continues to improve throughout the season he could move into the lower tier of QB1s.

Shaun Hill, Lions: Since taking over for Matt Stafford who is out with a shoulder injury. Hill has averaged just over 300 yards a game and thrown for 5 TDs. He has also thrown at least 2 INTs in those games also which hurts his value in leagues that give negative points for turnovers. But with the Lions playing from behind most of the time he is being asked to throw the ball alot. Hill can make a good bye week fill in for teams that are desperate for a QB to play.

Running Backs: If for some reason Ryan Torain is still available in your league his is the top RB waiver option.

LeGarrette Blount, Buccaneers: I advised on picking up Blount in last weeks waiver wire post and I am doing it again this week. More than likely he is still out there due to the Bucs being on bye last week. Blount has already be named the goal line back in Tampa and now Caddy Wiliams is saying his days as the starting RB in Tampa are coming to an end. Blount looks to eat into Wiliams carries and could be a nice little RB3/RB4 for fantasy owners.

Tashard Choice, Cowboys: Word out of Dallas is that Felix Jones is going to take over the main back duties in Dallas because Marion Barber is "slowing down" the Cowboys potent offense. Barber does appear to have lost a step or two. Choice won't get alot of touches right away but he makes a nice little roster stash in bigger leagues. Choice when given the chance has put up decent numbers in Dallas and Felix Jones isn't known to be able to carry the load. If there was an injury to occur to Jones than I think Choice could be the next back in line.

Mike Bell, Eagles: The Eagles LeSean McCoy suffered a fracture rib in Sundays lose to the Redskins. Bell looks to be the starter for this coming week against the 49ers. The 49ers are tough against the run so Bell may not be the best option to play but if McCoy's injury lingers Bell would get the majority of carries for the Eagles. Bell is a look in bigger leagues at this point.

Wide Receivers:

Kenny Britt, Titans: Britt has scored the last 2 weeks. His reception and yardage totals remain low but Justin Gage has reportedly suffered a hamstring injury. Last season when Britt broke out it was due to a Gage injury that lasted 5 weeks. Britt would make a nice WR4 and maybe a WR3 play for teams with bye week issues.

Davone Bess, Dolphins: Bess is a good PPR league player. But now he should be considered in regular formatted leagues after busting out with a 9 catch for 98 yards and 1 TD performance on MNF. With Marshall stretching the field and drawing double coverage Bess works the underneath routes. If teams continue to focus on Marshall Bess could make a nice little WR4/Flex play. Bess is worth owning in deep leagues right now.
