Week 3 Target Report

• Brandon Marshall and Austin Collie led in targets this week and it showed with their great games.
• Frank Gore led the RB in targets and Antonio Gates led the TEs
• Through the first 3 weeks Roddy White leads all WRs with 41 targets followed by Brandon Marshall with 37
• Larry Fitzgerald (34) and Terrell Owens (33) are in the top 5 for targets but both have poor conversion percentages. Larry Fitzgerald has only 12 receptions and Owens has 14 receptions. The poor play of their QBs has contributed to the low number of receptions especially in Fitzgerald's case. 
• Frank Gore leads the RBs this season with 29 targets through 3 weeks. Rookie Jahvid Best is 2nd with 24 followed by Adrian Peterson. With Chester Taylor in Chicago allowing Adrian Peterson to play more 3rd downs now has given him a big fantasy boost with the potential of adding 50+ receptions to his already great rushing stats.
• Not surprising that Dallas Clark (27), Antonio Gates (26) and Vernon Davis (25) are the top targeted TEs through the first 3 weeks. But what is surprising is John Carlson (24)at number 4. Carlson came into the season as a TE2 and probably went undrafted in some leagues. If he continues to get a good amount of looks and turns it into good productive numbers Carlson could move into the lower tier of TE1.
